Role Purpose
Provide specialised legal advice in intellectual property, commercial contracting, and digital and technology projects to Sanoma Education, offering practical support to business areas within an international matrix environment.
The role works in close coordination with the Head of Legal for Spain and Italy, providing ongoing legal support across both jurisdictions and collaborating with other legal teams within the Sanoma Group as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Intellectual Property and Content
- Provide legal advice on intellectual property rights related to editorial content, including children's and young adult literature, as well as educational and digital materials.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for the acquisition, assignment, and licensing of rights.
- Support the protection of intellectual property assets and manage disputes or incidents, coordinating with the Head of Legal and external counsel.
