Job Description

As a Legal Counsel specialising in Data Protection, you will be part of the corporate legal team, providing expert legal advice and support on data related regulations and compliance across the Group. In addition, you will contribute to strategic data and AI initiatives, ensuring they are developed and implemented in line with regulatory requirements and Ageas’ Elevate27 strategy.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Regulatory Guidance

    • Advise on all aspects of GDPR and provide expert guidance on broader regulatory frameworks, including ePrivacy, cybersecurity regulations, the EU Data Act and AI Act, with a deep understanding of their impact on the Group’s activities.

  • Contract and Policy Management

    • Draft, review and negotiate supplier and intragroup agreements, focusing on data processing and security aspects. Prepare and maintain privacy notices, internal policies, and guidance on personal data handling and governance.
