    Job Description

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts and legal documents, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
  • Provide legal advice to support business operations, including guidance on corporate governance, employment laws, and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor and interpret changes in laws and regulations, advising stakeholders on their implications for the organization.
  • Support entity-level compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory obligations, including filings, disclosures, and policy implementation.
  • Assist in the localization and rollout of global policies and processes to ensure alignment with Indian legal requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, Finance, Procurement, Admin, etc.) to address legal queries and operational challenges.
  • Identify legal risks and recommend practical, business-oriented solutions to mitigate exposure.
  • Provide legal and compliance training to internal teams to promote awareness and adherence to key obligations.
  • Coordinate with external counsel on dispute resolution, litigation, and regulatory matters as needed.
  • Engage with government and regulatory authorities for approvals, filings, and legal clarifications.

    • The Successful Applicant

    Reporting to the Head of Legal and CFO, the ideal candidate should have:

  • A degree in law with at least 8 years of PQE.
  • Experience in the manufacturing sector is preferred.
  • Proficiency in handling legal disputes and regulatory matters.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
