Job Description
• Drafting, vetting and finalization of various agreements / contracts. As a business, we largely sign NDAs, customer and vendor contracts. These include contracts with local Indian businesses, MNCs as well as global companies based out of India. The incumbent would also assist in overseeing documents related to real estate, intellectual property, etc.
• Working on an IT document management platform for organizing the legal documents of the company and ensuring the documents are easily tracked and also available in an electronic format at a single source. To collaborate and assist in the implementation of appropriate tech solutions for the legal function.
• Generally analyze and identify legal risks and implications, protect and enforce the Company's rights and interests. Maintain current knowledge of legislations and judicial pronouncements and keep management updated regarding changes, new laws, and regulations that may have implications to the Company.
