Our client is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join their team on a contract basis in Calgary, Alberta. The position provides administrative and legal support to senior staff, primarily in real estate development and corporate finance. The ideal candidate is someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and draft legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings.
  • Manage calendars, appointments, and meetings for senior staff.
  • Open, close, and maintain organized legal files.
  • Perform data entry and assist with corporate and real estate transaction closings.
  • Handle banking, accounts processing, and related administrative tasks.
  • Scan, copy, file, and maintain legal documentation.
  • Support dictation, transcription, and general office operations.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and quality standards.
