Position Summary
:This position reports to the Legislative Acts Administrator and coordinates the Office of Property Assessments (OPA) functions related to processing tax abatement programs and provides administrative support to the Administrator in all County Special Exemptions from Taxation. The Legislative Acts Coordinator also serves as the liaison between OPA and all applicable taxing jurisdictions regarding valuation changes and other County departments.
Overview:
The Office of Property Assessments (OPA) produces a fair, accurate and timely assessment roll, doing so in a uniform manner consistent with the International Association of Assessing Officers (IAAO) while emphasizing outstanding customer service and an efficient use of resources.
