Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Advanced Incident Handling: Own L2 queue for routing/switching, wireless, and firewall incidents;
perform deep diagnostics (logs, flow analytics, packet captures) and restore service within SLA. - Problem Management & RCA: Lead root cause analysis for recurring issues;
document corrective actions, standard fixes, and contribute to Known Error Database. - Change & Configuration Management: Prepare and execute standard changes (port/VLAN ops, trunking, ACL updates, AP configuration, SSID policy, firewall rule changes) under CAB governance;
validate post-change health. - Wireless Operations: Optimize WLAN (RF planning basics, interference checks, controller/AP configs), 802.1X authentication, guest/IoT segmentation;
coordinate site surveyswith vendors where required. - Security & Perimeter: Administer firewall policies/NAT/VPN;
review change impacts and mitigate risks;
