LGV Drivers Needed

Pay: £20.28 - £27.33 per hour

Hackney Council is looking for experienced LGV Drivers to join our team and help keep Hackney cleaner, safer, and greener - a place for everyone.

As an LGV Driver, you'll play a vital role in supporting our waste services, including:

  • Street cleansing
  • Waste transfer station operations
  • Gully cleaning
  • Winter gritting
  • Refuse and recycling collections

You'll drive a variety of Category C vehicles , including specialist vehicles such as roll-on/roll-off trucks, skips, and mechanical brooms. Our teams work across the borough day and night, all year round, tackling everything from graffiti removal to fly-tipping and stray dogs.
