We are currently seeking a qualified, experienced Librarian to join our team in Abu Dhabi. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing our library resources and providing assistance to library users.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and manage the library's collection of books, magazines, and multimedia materials
- Catalogue new materials using the Library of Congress classification system
- Assist library users in finding and checking out materials
- Provide reference services and answer inquiries from library users
- Develop and implement programs to promote reading and literacy within the community
- Maintain accurate records of library circulation, inventory, and budget
- Train and supervise library staff members
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and trends in librarianship
