As a Library Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the Librarian in managing the library and providing support to library users.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to library users, including answering inquiries and assisting with locating materials
• Assist with the organization and maintenance of library collections, including shelving books and other materials
• Process new library materials, including labeling, cataloging, and entering into digital databases
• Monitor and track library inventory, making recommendations for ordering new materials as needed
• Assist with planning and implementation of library programs and events for the community
