Your Opportunity: Brooks Acute Care is a 28-bed unit providing care to medical/surgical patients received from the emergency department, transfer from regional/tertiary facility, home or operating room. This environment is suitable for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who has recent medical/surgical, maternity or emergency room experience. As a member of the CoAct team, you will provide a wide variety of nursing services to patients and families, while taking necessary steps to ensure their safety and well-being. In your role, you will utilize nursing processes, through critical thinking, problem solving and decision making, as well as teach, counsel and advocate on behalf of patients and families. The LPN provides safe and effective nursing care according to hospital policies and nursing care standards.
