Overview

Your Opportunity: This is an exciting opportunity at the Strathcona Community Hospital. The facility offers a 24/7 Emergency Department, a variety of ambulatory outpatient services, Laboratory, and Diagnostic Imaging services. This position is the front line representation in delivering care within the Emergency Department. Based on a primary health care model, the incumbent functions within a multidisciplinary team and is responsible for the assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care. The incumbent performs a variety of nursing-related duties in accordance with clinical policies and standards. The incumbent must have strong judgment and decision-making skills, as well as the ability to participate in inter-professional collaboration.
