ALA has an exciting opportunity for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who will have the opportunity to work within a dynamic environment that is designed to meet the needs of individuals who present with a combination of dementia syndrome and complex behavioural issues in a Type A Continuing Care Home. Residents may exhibit challenging, unpredictable responsive behaviours, which require enhanced staffing expertise to provide care and oversight. The LPN position will be based out of the Enhanced Care Unit however may involve working on other units at Mackenzie Place as needed. Reporting to the Care Manager, the LPN utilizes the nursing process, critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills to provide care to individuals.
