Please note this position is located in Manning, Alberta, 6 hours north of Edmonton. The Licensed Practical Nurse at Manning Community Health Centre in the town of Manning, Alberta is an integral member of the patient care team in a combined facility including Acute Care, Emergency. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct patient care and support functions consistent with the Licensed Practical Nurse Standards. The LPN is responsible to the Care Manager and under the direction and guidance of the Staff Nurse. Working in a combined facility in a rural community is an excellent opportunity to develop a broad knowledge base and solid nursing foundation. The town of Manning is located on the banks of the beautiful Notikewin River in northern Alberta and is known as the Land of the Mighty Moose.
