The UAH and Stollery Children’s Emergency Department is a busy tertiary care level I emergency department and is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This large tertiary Trauma Centre provides opportunities in a broad base of emergency nursing from Pediatrics to Trauma Care. Orthopedic Technician works within the Emergency department work in a state‑of‑the‑art facility utilizing an electronic tracking system, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for emergency patients. The incumbent applies, adjusts, and removes casts, splints and traction equipment utilized in the care of orthopedic patients.
