Job Description
We are seeking a New York State–licensed Professional Engineer (PE) to prepare structural framing plans and perform full load and wind calculations, with the ability to stamp and sign drawings for NYC / NYS submissions.
This role is for ongoing project-based work, not a one-time task.
The engineer will be responsible for:
* Structural framing plans (wood / steel / light gauge as applicable)
* Gravity, lateral, and wind load calculations
* Code-compliant design per NYC Building Code / NYS codes
* Signed and sealed (stamped) drawings suitable for DOB submission
* Coordination with architectural drawings when required
* Revisions based on DOB comments (as needed)
Projects are primarily residential and mixed-use, including renovations and new construction.
Contract duration of 1 to 3 months. with 40 hours per week.
Mandatory skills: Structural Engineering, Autodesk AutoCAD, Drafting, Civil Engineering, Steel Structure
