About the role:

We're looking for an Engineering Manager to lead supply chain control tower team. The ideal
candidate will have a strong background in software engineering with a focus on backend
development. If you're passionate about building scalable and robust backend systems and have a
proven track record of managing high-performing engineering teams, we want to hear from you!

What makes the role meaty?
● Team Leadership: Manage and inspire a team of team of 6-10 backend engineers,
guiding them in designing, developing, and scaling a reliable data platform
● Product Development: Drive technical architecture and design of backend systems for
scalability and reliability. Set the processes & standards across SDLC lifecycle. Champion
high availability, performance culture, and customer-centric product focus
● Code Quality: Oversee code reviews, architecture discussions, and ensure the team follows
coding standards and best practices
● Project Management: Set clear goals and track progress towards achieving project
milestones. Prioritize operational excellence, incident management, and risk identification
● Performance Optimization: Lead efforts to optimize applications for speed,
responsiveness, and resource efficiency, utilizing profiling tools and performance analysis
● Technical Problem Solving: Address complex technical challenges and provide guidance
on architecture, performance optimization, and scalability
● Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams like
engineering, product and operations teams.
● Mentorship and Development: Mentor engineers, lead a team and emphasize
engineering excellence and quality

● Have a minimum of 7+ years of experience
● Have strong problem-solving skills , data oriented mindset and innovative thinking.
● Have a strong understanding of OOP concepts, distributed systems, SQL, and NoSQL
databases
● Have experience with message brokers and caching systems
● Have experience with CI-CD
● Have experienced in architectural decisions and design
● Have knowledge with any cloud AWS/Azure/Google
● Are highly adaptable to changing stakeholder needs in a fast-paced environment
● Are User-focused with the ability to drive product improvements
● Have leadership skills for coaching and providing growth opportunities
● Can effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
● Have a commitment to continuous improvement through experimentation and experience
● Have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
