Position Purpose:



Manage all the production control activities and the team of production planners, expeditors, to deliver the required. products to the different customers on time.









Job Description





Principle Duties and Responsibilities:



Essential Functions:





+ Encourages teamwork with the Materials Planning and Engineering teams to assure successful product launches .



+ Is a critical part of the SBUs CFT .



+ Coordinate staff activities .



+ Follow up plans and programs established; verifying priorities and make changes if need it .



+ Reviews, develops, analyzes reports, forecasts and metric information to take appropriate action .



+ Attend and solve special situations related to planning and production scheduling, and incorporating engineering changes, preventing materials shortages, obsolete inventory, etc .



+ Work on a continuous improvements in the areas with his team .



+ Attending meetings with internal and external customers .



+ Active participation in the department's strategic plan.





Perform other duties as assigned.



Other Requirements:





+ MRP and ERP systems management, Microsoft Office Excel, Power Point, Word.



+ Experience in the position programmer or production planner.



+ CAS, Solumina, SAP, Windows Office (Excel Macros and Visual Basic is a plus).



+ Demand balance in CNC Machines experience.



+ Proven communication, teamwork and negotiation skills.



+ Project management (Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing) a plus.



+ APICS (Management and inventory control, Supply chain, etc).



+ Advanced English level.
