Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
+ As required. serve as back up for manager .
+ Review of Metric and indicators .
+ Represent the Department of Materials at the meetings with the areas that require.Proposal development to improve productivity .
+ Improvement Project Development .
+ Lead department improvements and projects .
+ Suggests annual department objectives .
+ High complexity task-projects .
+ High performance expectation .
+ Coordinates activities of people who are not direct or indirect subordinates .
+ Negotiations within and outside the company, impacts the department or other areas .
+ Mature-Senior employee supervision .
+ Formal teams .
+ Mentor training department.
Additional Functions:
+ Applies judgment and creativity in the way they work .
+ Occasionally negotiates changes with Head Managers .
+ Needs judgement and creativity to make changes .
+ People skills, teamwork, communication skills, may have external negotiations .
Perform other duties as assigned.
Other Requirements:
+ MS Project or equivalent.
+ Visio or equivalent.
+ Minitab or equivalent.
+ MRP and ERP Systems.
+ Warehouse Management and Inventory Control.
+ FIFO, Kanban, JIT, Min-Max.
+ Capacity Analysis and demand.
+ Six Sigma, Lean Sigma or equivalent.
+ Physical inventories and cycle counts.
+ Advanced English level.
