Lifeguard

Reporting to the Program Coordinator (Recreation & Aquatics), the Lifeguard & Swim Instructor supports the planning and delivery of private and group swimming lessons for a variety of ages and abilities. The Lifeguard & Swim Instructor will ensure programs and services are delivered in accordance with Ferguslea policies, procedures, health and safety standards and the Lifesaving Society National Lifeguard and Swim Instructor standards. The Lifeguard/Swim Instructor drives a standard of excellence for exemplary customer service and client satisfaction.

The contract position is from May 23 to August 31, with up to 25 hours per week in May and June and up to 40 hours per week in July and August based on availability and preference. Evening and weekend availability is required.
