About the Role :

As a Short Form Scriptwriter for our Men's Lifestyle IP at YAAS, you'll be creating India's most trusted destination for men's fashion, grooming, and lifestyle content. You'll write scripts that help Younger and Millennial men figure out what to buy, how to style it, and whether it's worth the money. This role requires product knowledge, clear writing, and the ability to make lifestyle content both informative and entertaining.


Responsibilities :

  • Research and write 48-50 high-quality scripts monthly for Instagram and YouTube shorts covering fashion, grooming, and lifestyle products
  • Create content that guides viewers on what to buy, how to buy, and when to buy across different categories.
  • Provide editors with specific B-Roll links and product visuals to execute scripts effectively
  • Deliver honest, practical recommendations that balance aspiration with affordability
  • Analyse performance data and adapt writing approach based on audience response
  • Work collaboratively with editors to ensure smooth content production workflow
  • Manage the script-to-publication process (3-4 hours writing, 3-4 hours production support daily)
  • Occasionally interface with the team on content strategy and direction


Qualifications:

1-2 years experience creating lifestyle or fashion content with measurable engagement metrics

Understanding of men's fashion, grooming, and lifestyle categories


Required Skills :

  • Strong research skills to identify quality products, trends, and smart buying opportunities
  • Excellent writing abilities without over-reliance on AI tools (should use LLMs strategically to enhance thinking, not replace original writing)
  • Understanding of visual storytelling and how scripts translate to video
  • Demonstrated ability to write engaging hooks and maintain viewer attention
  • Experience analysing content performance and adjusting strategy accordingly
  • Knowledge of the Indian market and what resonates with Consumers.
  • Portfolio of previous work showing writing quality and engagement results


Nice to Have :

  • Background in luxury brand management, fashion journalism, hospitality, or luxury retail.
  • Experience with luxury products, premium services, or high-end lifestyle experiences.
  • Personal luxury or lifestyle content channel or portfolio of published work.
  • Experience with YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, LinkedIn video strategy.
  • Knowledge of video production workflows and how scripts translate to final edits.
  • Understanding of brand positioning and authenticity standards in luxury content.

  • Inability to verify facts or understand brand heritage properly
  • Resistance to learning AI tools or adapting to new workflows
  • Slow output or inability to manage multiple content timelines
  • Lack of awareness of what's happening in the luxury and lifestyle creator space
