Overview
Grant Elevator Sales Pty Ltd is a growing independent lift company specialising in the installation, modernisation, and servicing of passenger and commercial lifts across Western Australia. Due to continued project growth, we are seeking an experienced Elevator Installation Technician to join our installation team.
This is a hands-on field role suited to a trade-qualified lift technician or suitably experienced fitter who takes pride in quality workmanship, safety, and delivering reliable outcomes for clients.
You will be responsible for the mechanical installation of new lift equipment, including:
- Installation of machine-room-less (MRL) traction lifts
- Rail installation, car and counterweight assembly
- Door systems, controllers, and wiring
- Working to Australian Standards and site safety requirements
- Liaising with builders, consultants, and internal project managers
About You
The successful candidate must have previous experience working on and installing European manufactured elevators, a current WA Drivers Licence, and be able to work Monday to Friday, overtime also available.
- Be physically fit and have a thorough understanding of manual handling techniques
- Mechanically minded
- Experience working on lifts from Europe
- Ability to follow set work instructions
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Attention to detail and quality
- Willingness to learn
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
A strong commitment to quality, customer satisfaction and workplace safety is a must.
Qualifications and Competencies required
- Provide a current police clearance certificate
- Must pass a mandatory medical including a Drug and Alcohol test
