As a Lift Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning, supervising, and controlling all lifting operations at engineering and construction project sites. This role strictly requires prior experience in the engineering and construction industry, with hands-on exposure to heavy lifting activities, crane operations, and site safety compliance.
About Your Team
Reporting directly to the Logistics Manager, you will work closely with site operations, safety, commercial teams, and external suppliers to ensure smooth logistics administration and compliance across all activities.
Your Role
- Supervise and coordinate all lifting operations at construction sites.
- Prepare and review lifting plans, method statements, and risk assessments.
- Ensure all lifting activities are carried out safely and in compliance with project and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, signalmen, and site teams.
- Inspect lifting equipment, gear, and accessories before use.
- Ensure lifting equipment certifications are valid and up to date.
- Stop unsafe lifting operations and report incidents or near misses.
- Conduct toolbox talks and provide guidance to lifting teams.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Lift Supervisor in an engineering or construction company (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of lifting operations, cranes, rigging, and heavy equipment.
- Ability to prepare and understand lifting plans and method statements.
- Good understanding of construction site safety standards and regulations.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Valid Lift Supervisor certification (as per local regulations) is preferred.
