Linehaul Supervisor I

Job Description
The Linehaul Supervisor I demonstrates excellent problem solving and customer service skills to ensure linehaul operations work is performed according to approved Company procedures, standards, and specification. This position supervises all activities of linehaul for their domicile including, but not limited to, developing and executing linehaul plans, calling and assigning drivers, overseeing arriving and departing drivers and supporting personnel engaged in hostling activities.

Responsibilities
* Provide direct supervision of drivers.
* Foster a culture of safety and ensure compliance with applicable DOT, OSHA, and other related requirements.
* Work in a team setting to accomplish department and Company goals.
* Coordinate work assignments and monitor performances, including contacting drivers for assignment.
