Contract Duration: 1 Year

Responsibilities

• Translate and edit a variety of contents, including user interface and long-form text.
• Perform testing of the translated products to identify linguistic and functional issues.
• Perform terminology and style guide updates.
• Provide linguistic and cultural expertise in various localization projects.
• Provide linguistic support and guidance to vendor translation teams

Skills

• Minimum Qualifications 100% native fluency in Tamil respectively and near-native fluency in English.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in translation from English to Tamil & vice versa.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Familiarity with relevant culture and trends.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Translation Studies, Linguistics, Communications or similar is desirable.
• Experience in social media and mobile space is a plus.
• Familiarity with computer aided translation tools is desirable.
