Responsibilities
- Ø HP, Cisco, IBM and Dell Hardware’s
- Ø IT Service Management (ITSM) based on ITIL best practices.
- Ø VMWare virtualization.
- Ø System Administration of Linux (Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5/6/7/8 and Centos 5/6/7) and and AIX 6.1/7.1
- Ø System Installation and configuration of Red Hat Operating Systems in Physical Environment
- Ø Managing HP, Dell and Cisco Hardware’s and applying BIOS upgrades.
- Ø Automating day to day activities using Ansible playbooks
- Ø Redhat & Centos 6/7 Server patching through Ansible playbooks
- Ø Writing bash shell script to automate the day to day activities
- Ø Server performance monitoring and troubleshooting
- Ø Managing power path devices in Red Hat servers and AIX servers
- Ø LUN addition and File system management in Red Hat and AIX servers.
- Ø Creating File system and configure to available network through NFS and Autofs configuration.
- Ø Disk management using standard partition type and Logical Volume Management.
- Ø Analyzing security vulnerabilities and applying fixes for Red Hat servers
- Ø Installing Linux Kernel and Non-kernel Patches
- Ø Puppet Management (Master/Slave setup)
- Ø Performed routine task such as adding, modifying and deleting user accounts in command line, checking log files and monitoring system process on Linux Servers.
- Ø Providing the security to the system by controlling remote access, ftp users, and setting file permissions and ACL’s to the files and directories.
- Ø Configuring Secure SSH using key based authentication for remote login administration purpose.
- Ø Install, configure and managing the Samba server integrated with Windows AD for authentication and editing configuration file according to client's requirements.
- Ø Configuring NFS servers and managing clients
- Ø Configuring yum for installing and updating packages
- Ø RPM package installation and configuration
