Linux Admin – VPS to Dual Physical Server Migration

Overview
I'm migrating from a single VPS to two physical servers and need a senior Linux administrator to finalize the architecture, complete migrations, harden the environment, and establish a clean long-term setup.
The environment is currently hybrid:
• Some WordPress (DIVI) sites already moved to one physical server
• A few sites still remain on the VPS
• Backups are currently rsync-based
• Webmin is used for management
• LAMP stack in place
The VPS will be decommissioned once migration is complete.
Scope (Phase 1)
• Review and finalize 2-server architecture
• Complete migration of remaining sites
• Harden both physical servers (security-first approach)
• Deploy Nginx (reverse proxy/static content)
• Optimize LAMP + PHP-FPM + DB
• Consolidate DNS
• Review and improve rsync backup strategy
• Deploy object storage (S3-compatible, e.g., MinIO)
