Role: Linux Admin

Experience Required: 6 to 10 Years

Location: Chennai

Job Description:

1. Expertise in Linux based operating system - Redhat / Suse

2. Expertise in VCS / VxVM , RedHat Cluster OR SuSE Cluster

3. Certified Linux Redhat Administrtor

4. Working knowledge of standard Linux backup and recovery tools

5. Working knowledge of standard Linux security Methodologies, hardening procedures, and best practices

Job Summary:

1. Plan and conduct installations, transitions, upgrades of Linux running in a VMWARE environment

2. Analyze server and storage characteristics (e.g., CPU behavior, latency, transmission speeds, packet loss and throughput), triage and troubleshoot problems.

3. Excellent communication & documentation skills, both in technical and non-technical arenas

4. Strong troubleshooting skills on core ESXi features, Shielded VM Management, Virtual workload provisioning

Working experience on Creating VMs, templates on Hyper-V

5. Knowledge and understanding of the Filesystem, LVM, PV and different process
