Plan, design, and maintain our intercontinental network across six global locations. Optimize our data center packet-switching infrastructure for reliability, low latency, and high throughput. Keep our network secure using OpenBSD firewalls and manage customer connections via leased lines and VPNs. Develop and enhance automated network configuration tools using % open-source software (e.g. Ansible, Python). Participate in a rotating on-call system (approximately one week in five, fully compensated). Assist in maintaining our fleet of ~ Linux servers (Debian , CentOS 8). Expand your expertise by learning technologies such as Kubernetes and Puppet Programming experience in at least one scripting language, ideally Bash, Perl, or Python. Strong knowledge of Linux and networking, with proficiency in command-line operations. Experience with Icinga, Puppet, Hiera, Linux KVM, Git, Facter, Ansible, or MySQL is desirable. Proficiency in monitoring tools, switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers. Several years of experience in similar environments.
