Description

ActioNet is looking for a Linux Administrator. The Linux Administrator will be responsible for enterprise system, patch, and network operations across Red Hat (RHEL), Solaris, and Windows environments. Oversaw patch lifecycle planning, execution, automation, reporting, and cross-team coordination while supporting system optimization, capacity planning, and network operations in a federal environment. Worked closely with engineering, cloud, and operations teams to ensure secure, reliable, and compliant infrastructure while providing technical guidance and operational support.Key Responsibilities
• Managed monthly patch schedules, reschedules, and waivers for RHEL and Solaris servers using Patch Management GUI tools, databases, and automation platforms
• Created and published monthly RHEL, Solaris, and Patch Assignment schedules and baseline documentation on SharePoint
