NTT Data Greece is looking for an Linux Automation Engineer in Athens to work with our clients in the European public sector. The position requires a monthly on-site presence of 30–50% in Strasbourg, France.

Your role:

  • Design and develop automation scripts using tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Terraform.
  • Administration and Troubleshooting of existing automation processes.​
  •  Manage and optimize Linux server environments, ensuring high availability and performance.​
  • Monitor and troubleshoot system performance and reliability issues.​
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to automate workflows and enhance system capabilities.​
  • Create, contribute, and review documented automation processes and maintain system configurations.

    Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Over 5 years of working experience as Linux Administrator.
  • Understanding networks architecture elements and service.
  • Experience in Orchestration, Automation & Service configuration with Ansible or Terraform.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (such as Nagios, Cacti, Grafana, Prometheus or equivalent).​
  •  Understanding of CI/CD processes and tools (like Jenkins, GitHub, etc.).
  •  Fluent English.
  • You must be eligible for EU Security Clearance (at least 5 years of EU nationality is required).

    • Nice to have Skills:​

  • Red Hat OpenShift Experience: Worked with Red Hat OpenShift, including installation options, configuration, management, and administration post installation​.

    • Willingness to pursue below certifications:​

  • Developing Automation with Ansible Automation Platform​.
  • RH OpenShift Certified Administrator.
