About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Linux Developer with deep expertise in Linux internals and virtualization image creation. In this role, you will design, build, optimize, and maintain Linux-based systems and OS images across multiple hypervisors and cloud environments. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting complex issues across the stack, from kernel-level behavior to networking and performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain Linux-based systems and services.
• Build, test, and maintain system images for Hyper-V (VHD/VHDX) , VMware (VMDK/OVA) , and AWS AMI environments.
• Work with Linux internals, including process management, memory architecture, networking (UDP/TCP), filesystems, and I/O models (epoll, io_uring) .
• Create and maintain system services using systemd , and manage OS packaging via DEB workflows.
• Automate tasks and system operations using shell scripting and Git-based development workflows.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues using advanced debugging tools such as tcpdump , Wireshark , strace , perf , and flame graphs .

Qualifications & Skills:

• Strong, hands-on knowledge of Linux internals (processes, memory, networking, I/O models).
• Experience with systemd , DEB packaging, and Linux service lifecycle management.
• Proficiency in shell scripting and version control with Git .
• Demonstrated experience building and managing images for: Hyper-V (VHD/VHDX); VMware(VMDK/OVA); AWS AMIs
• Expertise in debugging tools: tcpdump, Wireshark, strace, perf, flame graphs .

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with image automation and provisioning tools such as Packer , cloud-init , qemu-img , Ansible , or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for image creation and validation.
• Knowledge of OS hardening or security best practices.
