Job Purpose:
CBTS has an opening for a candidate with 5+ years' experience managing Linux operating systems. This position resides in a CBTS Managed Services team that provides enterprise solutions and technologies to multiple customers.
The ideal candidate will work with minimal supervision and have a desire to investigate and implement solutions or fixes. Working with a team of engineers, this candidate must possess a willingness to learn and adapt. Following procedures for break/fix, incidents, change requests, and scheduled maintenance are a regular part of the position.
Verbal and written communication skills are necessary to convey information that may be complex to others. Additionally, being productive in a team environment and helping contribute to a positive team effort is required. Planning and prioritization must occur to complete tasks effectively.
Position requires on-call support and after-hours work.
