Job Description
Main purpose of the role:
To be responsible for the CVE Assessment, patching and vulnerability management, hardening of all Linux, Solaris, HP-UX, AIX Server, Solaris VM and IBM VIO and SLA Reporting.
Roles & Responsibilities
Administer and support Linux/Unix server environments
Work on RHEL, Solaris, AIX, and HP-UX servers
Manage and support cluster environments using Veritas Cluster and GPFS
Perform patch management and vulnerability management activities (Must Have)
Plan, assess, and execute OS, hardware, and firmware patching (Must Have)
Use patch management tools such as BigFix, SCCM, or equivalent (Must Have)
Conduct patch impact analysis and recommend deployment strategies
Automate pre-patch and post-patch activities using scripts or automation tools
Troubleshoot and resolve OS-level and hardware-related issues (Must Have)
Perform BIOS and firmware upgrades on enterprise servers
Monitor and manage system logs, ensuring proactive issue detec...
