Job Description
Responsibilities
Independently manage and oversee the full litigation lifecycle for the organization, including pre-litigation strategy, filing/defending suits, appeals, execution proceedings, and alternative dispute resolution (arbitration, mediation, conciliation).
Appear and argue cases before various courts, tribunals (including NCLT, DRT, Consumer Forums, Labour Courts, etc.), and coordinate effectively with external counsel where required.
Conduct in-depth legal research on statutes, case laws, precedents, and regulatory developments; prepare legal opinions, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.
Strategically manage external litigation counsel brief them, review their work product, monitor case progress, control costs, and ensure alignment with company objectives.
