Live in Mentor

The Lead Tenant Program is a unique program that connects vulnerable young people with volunteer adult mentors. Live in Mentors, also known as “Lead Tenants”, reside in a property with one to two young people. In this space, the Live in Mentors will exhibit positive role modelling and share basic living skills such as cooking, budgeting and house maintenance, whilst still maintaining the freedom to engage in work or study.

As the Live in Mentor – Lead Tenant you are expected to demonstrate a positive and balanced lifestyle, participate equally in household chores and assist to ensure that any conflicts arising within the household are dealt with in a positive and productive manner.
