Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Local SEO specialist to help us build a clear and practical Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for our internal team.
This is not a long-term execution role. We need strategic guidance and documentation that we can implement ourselves.
Scope of Work:
Create a step-by-step Local SEO SOP (for service-based businesses)
Outline best practices for:
Google Business Profile optimization
On-page local optimization
Local citations & NAP consistency
Local link building
Technical checks specific to local SEO
Provide a checklist of common mistakes & precautions to avoid
Define clear KPIs to evaluate team performance
Explain how to properly track progress (rank tracking, GMB insights, traffic, conversions, etc.)
Recommend tools (free or paid) for monitoring results
Deliverables:
Well-structured SOP document (Google Doc preferred)
Clear evaluation checklist
Reporting framework template (weekly/monthly)
