At Translation Services Operations, the SPS Language Experience, Localization and Insights (LELI) team develops high-quality, user-centered content for the companies and individuals who sell goods and services through Amazon, and for the team that helps sellers when they contact Seller Support. The LELI Organization’s goal is to remove language barriers between SPs and Amazon teams.



As a Localization Operations PM, you will be responsible for owning and managing medium to large localization initiatives. You will be responsible for working with global editorial teams, project stakeholders, tech and product teams, and customers to define strategy, build project plans, report on milestones, and effectively communicate risk. You will manage relationships with translation service providers and resources to ensure timely, high-quality global content. You will be responsible for educating our internal stakeholders on the benefits of a systematic localization workflow. You will apply your expertise in the localization industry and good project management and organization skills to identify and solve for gaps in our standard processes.



Key job responsibilities

· Effectively manage localization projects from project intake to final delivery.

· Ensure a consistent global experience through application and ongoing iteration of our localization strategies.

· Work successfully with project partners and stakeholders across various locations and time zones.

· Contribute to development of localization standards, systems, and best practices.

· Partner with technology teams to drive improvements to existing tools or develop use cases for new technological solutions.

· Balance competing priorities through great time management, organizational skills, and judgment.

· Actively seek, clarify, and understand information from end users and stakeholders to drive quality and efficacy of localization processes and deliverables.

Basic Qualifications

- 2+ years of program or project management experience

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent

- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.

- Experience working in an analytical environment with cross-functional teams

- Experience in Lean methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in e-commerce

- Experience working with clients

- Knowledge of SQL

- Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document
