High-paying GP VMO locum role in historic country NSW town, with lifestyle perks and full support.
The Job
Setting: The Health Service in Wellington provides a 24 hour Emergency Department, 12 acute inpatient beds, a four chair Dialysis Unit, Ambulatory Care Unit that provides in house and outreach services, a Primary and Community Health Unit, and a seven day Opioid Treatment Program that serves 40+ clients per day. There is an x-ray department that is operated 5 days per week during business hours. Pharmacy Services are provided via telehealth. The locum GP will be covering a busy ED, plus 12 ward beds. VMOs are onsite from 08:00 to 22:00 hours, and then on call overnight as required for the triage 1's , 2's and some 3's. Signing off pathology results on the system that are outstanding. You will work very closely with other team members at the hospital.
Hours: 08:00-22:00 on-site. On-call overnight
