This is a great opportunity for an APP who is confident working independently in a high-volume, efficient emergency environment with physician support always available. Position Highlights Fast Track / VUE : 10-bed unit within the Emergency Department Schedule : One APP shift daily: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM Coverage needed 7 days per week Patient Volume : ~110 patients per day (divided among providers) Annual ED volume: ~40,000 visits ED Details : Level III Trauma Center 50-bed Emergency Department 60% of hospital admissions come through the ED ~20% admission rate from ED Staffing Model : Physicians available 24/7 for support Emergency Medicine residents present (no APP supervision required for resident cases) Peak coverage includes multiple physicians during busiest hours EMR : Cerner Hospital Capabilities 24/7 Radiology & Laboratory Blood Bank & Pathology Full OR Services All Surgical Specialties Available OB patients sent directly to L&D Transfer protocols in place for Stroke, Trauma, and Pediatrics Requirements Board Certified NP or PA Active Michigan License (no exceptions, no IMLC) ACLS & ATLS Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience Must be local Benefits Malpractice covered with Tail
