Nurse Practitioner | Urgent Care Location: Montana Employer: Barton Associates Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in Montana. This opportunity begins on Feb 2, 2026, and spans a 70-day assignment, offering day shifts from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate must have 1-2 years of Tribal Health experience and be comfortable managing both family practice and primarily urgent care cases in an outpatient setting. Job Details Location: Montana Start Date: Feb 2, 2026 LOA: 70 days Provider Type Needed: Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm Responsibilities and Duties Provide comprehensive family medicine and urgent care services on an outpatient basis Deliver preventive care, chronic disease management, pediatric care, reproductive health services, and mental health and substance use treatment Perform in-office procedures and manage urgent care cases Address a range of cases including mental health, chronic pain, and chronic disease management Ensure high-quality patient care for all age groups within the community Additional Information Must have active Nurse Practitioner license in Montana 1-2 years of Tribal Health experience required Board certifications required: Family Medicine, Urgent Care Certifications required: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
