This opportunity begins on Feb 9, 2026, and features 7p-7a shifts. The provider will round daily on all floor level of care patients admitted to or seen in consultation on the general cardiology service line and perform ICU procedures as indicated. Candidates must hold an active NC license and DEA. Job Details Location: North Carolina Start Date: Feb 9, 2026 LOA: 36 days Provider Type Needed: Cardiology Physician Assistant Schedule: 7p-7a Responsibilities and Duties Round daily on all floor level of care patients admitted to or seen in consultation on the general cardiology service line Write daily progress notes, event notes, admission histories and physicals (H&Ps), new consult notes, and discharge summaries Order medications, testing, and procedures when indicated Perform procedures in the ICU when indicated, including arterial line placement, central line placement, and cardioversion Perform new consults with attending physician Additional Information Candidates must have an active NC license and active NC DEA Required board certification: Cardiology Experience with Cerner EMR preferred Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
