Estimated Weekly Salary: $3,500 - $4,150 Physician Assistant ICU Job Details Position: Locum Tenens Physician Assistant – Critical Care (ICU) Location: Atlanta, GA 30342 (Georgia healthcare jobs) Setting: Multi-specialty Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit Shift: Night Shift (7:00pm – 7:30am) Schedule: 3 shifts per week (12-hour shifts, 36 hours/week) Assignment Length: 13 weeks (March 1, 2026 – May 31, 2026) Qualifications for Physician Assistant Critical Care Jobs Active national and Georgia state Physician Assistant license At least 1 year of recent experience as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in an ICU or critical care setting Demonstrated proficiency in ICU procedures, including central and arterial line insertions (case logs required for credentialing) Ability to interpret diagnostic tests and document in Cerner EMR Key Responsibilities – ICU Physician Assistant Manage critically ill patients (10–15 per APP) in a high-acuity ICU with attending physician support Collaborate with attending physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and adjust patient care plans Conduct ongoing patient assessments and implement evidence-based interventions Order entry and documentation of History & Physicals, Consultations, Event/Follow-up Notes, and Procedure Notes Perform invasive procedures: central lines (CVLs, vascaths, introducers) and arterial line insertions Communicate effectively with ICU nursing staff and participate in multidisciplinary rounds Apply now to join our Atlanta-based healthcare team as a Locum Tenens Physician Assistant in Critical Care.
