APP Job Details Assignment Type: Locum tenens (Travel Contract) Location: San Francisco, CA 94158 Estimated Weekly Pay: $5,010 - $5,370 Start Date: March 9, 2026 End Date: August 31, 2026 Contract Length: 24 weeks Schedule: Full-time; day shifts (08:00 - 19:00); options for 5x8-hour or 4x10-hour days; weekends required Hours per Week: 40 Shift Duration: 8-hour days Setting: Hospital-based outpatient infusion center Patient Volume: 8-10 adult oncology patients per day EMR: Epic APP Qualifications Master’s degree (required) Active California Physician Assistant license or NP License California DEA license with Schedule 2 authority BLS certification (AHA required) 2-3 years of clinical experience in oncology or hematology (required), including inpatient or high-acuity healthcare settings Infusion center experience preferred Experience managing oncology patients from diagnosis through treatment Proficiency with Epic EMR COVID-19 vaccination and booster required (medical/religious exemptions considered) Preferred: OCN or AOCNP certification, bone marrow transplant (BMT) and hematology experience, trauma level I/II experience Healthcare Responsibilities Provide autonomous, consultative care for adult hematology and oncology patients in an infusion center setting Manage patient care for oncology disease groups, including monitoring for adverse reactions, transfers, and direct admissions Conduct independent patient visits and collaborate with oncology providers, nursing staff, and clinical support teams Perform line removals as needed (preferred) Coordinate with inpatient services and support staff (APPs, RNs, Medical Assistants) Document all patient care in Epic EMR Apply now to join our healthcare team as a locum tenens APP and make a meaningful impact in oncology and hematology patient care in San Francisco, CA!
