Physician Assistant | Surgery - Cardiothoracic Location: Charlotte, NC Employer: Curative Pay: $115 to $130 per hour Start Date: ASAP About the Position Cardiovascular Surgery PA in North Carolina - No Call, 7-On/7-Off Inpatient-only PA role in Charlotte with block scheduling and no OR or ICU responsibilities. Highlights No call; all shifts are during the day 7-on/7-off blocks; enjoy every other week off Temporary privileges available for NC-licensed PAs Practice Setting Inpatient floor management only; no ICU Two campuses within 20 minutes of each other Team includes 3 APPs, 15 RNs, and full office staff Patients are cardiovascular and thoracic surgery cases Schedule Daytime only, minimum 40 hours/week Flexible block options, including 7-on/7-off No weekends, evenings, or call required Cases and Procedures Rounding, consults, admissions, and discharges Bedside procedures: chest tube removals and pleurodesis 8-14 patients per shift No OR or surgical responsibilities Requirements Open to Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners Must be board-certified Active North Carolina license or compact license (IMLC not accepted) ACLS and BLS required Travel Accommodations All travel and lodging expenses covered Nearest airport: Charlotte Douglas International (CLT) Start as early as spring; let us know which weeks you'd like to work.
