We are seeking dedicated Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to provide exceptional urgent care services across multiple locations in the Charlotte, NC region. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a high volume of adult and pediatric patients (6 months and older), performing minor procedures such as I&D, lac repairs, and ear irrigations. You will have the autonomy to treat patients independently, utilizing your clinical expertise in urgent care. The position requires adaptability, excellent soft skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment, ensuring each patient receives compassionate and efficient care. Key Responsibilities: Provide urgent care services to adult and pediatric patients, including minor procedures. Manage high patient volumes while maintaining excellent quality standards. Accurately document all visits using Epic EMR with complete proficiency. Collaborate with support staff to ensure seamless patient workflows. Adhere to all credentialing, licensure, and certification requirements. Participate in onboarding, EMR training, and ongoing shift coverage as scheduled. Required Skills: Minimum of 12 months of clinical experience in urgent care or similar setting. Board certification (BC, NCCPA, NP Boards). Valid PA Certification, Family NP Certification, BLS, and NC DEA license. Proven proficiency in Epic EMR platform. Ability to handle a diverse caseload of adult and pediatric patients. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently as the sole provider in a busy setting. Nice to Have Skills: Experience floating between multiple clinics. Prior exposure to high-volume urgent care environments. Additional certifications in adult or pediatric urgent care procedures. Experience with minor procedures such as I&D, lac repairs, and ear irrigation. Preferred Education and Experience: Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or Registered Nurse Practitioner. At least 12 months of post-licensure clinical experience in urgent care or emergency medicine. Familiarity with Epic EMR, including modified training. Other Requirements: Willingness to work within a 60-mile radius of your residence across multiple clinics. Participation in scheduled training and onboarding sessions, including required Wednesday clinical screenings and EMR training. No travel reimbursement; mileage only. Valid medical license in North Carolina. Ability to start on 01/24/2026 and work flexible shifts as per scheduling needs.
