About This Physician Anesthesiology Role: 8, 10, 12-hour shifts (guaranteed 8 hours) Primarily nights Shifts can vary from 3p-11p to 7a-7p Call Coverage: Weekday Day 1-7a-7p (12-hour guarantee); Weekend Nights 7p-7a (12 hour on call – must be within 30 minutes of hospital Weekend Days 2 – on call as backup for day and night shift person (may work 4 or 5 hours or none) Weekend "Night"- 7a-7a (24 hr call, 3rd call during the day and 1st call at night). Not required to Supervise CRNA’s 90% Adult, 10% Pediatric Case types: 70% OB 10% Neuro 5% Thoracic 5% Complex 5% Ortho, No Cardiac Standard Procedures required: Adult, Pediatric, Spinal, epidural, regional, OB, Neurological (head/spine) Thoracic & complex vascular (except Open heart), Complex Ortho Pain management, post-op epidural & extremity block Vent management, Eval & manage acute vol/BP issues, C-lines, Arterial lines Requirements for this Physician Anesthesiology Role: CA license; active and unrestricted BC/BE within 5 years of residency What are the next steps?
