Required Skills: Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with valid medical license. Board-eligible or board-certified in Emergency Medicine. Active enrollment and credentialing with NC Medicaid and PECOS. Proven experience in emergency department settings, managing diverse cases efficiently. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Proficiency with Meditech 6.1 or similar Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems. Nice to Have Skills: Experience in ICU or critical care environments. Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or ATLS. Multilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations. Previous experience working within hospital-owned accommodations. Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree from an accredited institution. Prior ER experience with a minimum of 1-2 years preferred. Ability to adapt quickly to changing clinical situations. Other Requirements: Ability to commit to 12-hour shifts, including nights as scheduled. must be NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS before start date. Willingness to travel with costs capped at $500 (if applicable).
