Doctor of Medicine | Emergency Medicine Location: Greensburg, IN Employer: Rhino Medical Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 2 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Greensburg, Indiana Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens Long-Term Coverage | 12-Hour Shifts | Level IV Trauma Center | Meditech EMR Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking experienced Emergency Medicine Physicians to provide long-term locum tenens coverage at a community-based critical access hospital in Greensburg, Indiana . This assignment offers consistent monthly scheduling, a manageable ED volume, supportive APP coverage, and the opportunity to practice full-scope Emergency Medicine in a well-run rural setting. Assignment Overview Location: Greensburg, Indiana Facility Type: Critical Access Hospital | 25 Beds Department: Emergency Medicine Start Date: January 31, 2026 Assignment Type: Locum Tenens (6 Month Duration) Shifts Available: Physician: 7:00 AM β 7:00 PM Physician: 7:00 PM β 7:00 AM APP: 11:00 AM β 11:00 PM (Physician supervision required) Monthly Commitment: ~10 shifts/month EMR: Meditech Privileging: Temporary/emergency privileges available (case-by-case) Emergency Department Snapshot Annual ED Volume: ~14,305 ED Beds: 11 Patients per Hour: 2.5 Trauma Designation: Level IV Scribes: No Support Model: MD APP coverage Hospital Capacity: 25 inpatient beds This is a stable, well-staffed community program with predictable patient flow and excellent nursing support. Clinical Responsibilities Provide full-scope Emergency Medicine care to all patient populations Oversee and collaborate with onsite APPs during 11aβ11p shifts Evaluate, stabilize, and manage acute patient presentations Coordinate care with inpatient hospitalists and local specialty resources Maintain accurate documentation in Meditech Participate in emergency response as needed Candidate Requirements Accepted Specialties: ABEM/AOBEM, ABFM, ABIM (with strong EM experience) EM Experience: Minimum 3 years required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (required for all accepted specialties) Licensure: Active & unrestricted Indiana license (facility will process with pending license) Board Eligibility: Up to 5 years accepted Supervisory Responsibilities: Oversight of APPs Why This Assignment?
