Locum Physician (MD/DO) - Family Practice in North Carolina

Doctor of Medicine | Family Practice Location: North Carolina Employer: Austin Major Group Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Position Overview We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician for a full-time locum assignment beginning February 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to provide care in a multidisciplinary setting serving long-term care and neuro-medical patients. Assignment Details Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (8-hour days with a 30-minute lunch) 3-month contract with the potential to extend 1 in 4 call rotation, approximately 7–8 days per month Physicians meet weekly and review the on-call schedule for the following month Requirements Board Certified/Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Active North Carolina medical license (or ability to obtain) BLS Certification (American Heart Association required) COVID-19 Vaccination (Primary Series)
